Generation – Y Startup is an umbrella for start-ups. We are providing a platform for new entrepreneurs to gain tips, build, operate and grow businesses. We offer guidance right from when you want to write your business plan to when you want to start a social media marketing campaign.

Generation – Y Startup also connects new entrepreneurs with investors locally, if funding is required. As a company grows, we would also love to cover your success. FOUNDER:

My name is Tolu Babalola, budding entrepreneur and business owner writing about my experiences and all I have learned and currently learning about the startup industry from the perspective of a newbie.

I graduated college in May 2008 with an engineering degree, but I have that knack for building and growing ventures. I have faced many failures in the 2 years I have been an entrepreneur but I have also experienced success, infact it has been showing up at my door step a lot lately J.

In those two years, I have learned so much and it’s only fair that I share with others in my shoes. I am talking about those who have dreams, ideas but no one gives them a chance perhaps because this is their first shot at the business world…that’s the point of this blog, for those fresh out of college or high school entrepreneurs or even adults breaking out of the corporate world who don’t know much about this industry.

My tales and summaries are drawn from the several CEOs I have talked to, from the many evenings I spent rewriting my business plan so I will get a positive response from some VC in palo alto, from the lessons I learned along the way and many more.
